OUR METHOD
Show the working.
A useful number comes with an explanation. Here is how we handle sources, estimates and the things we still need to check.
Editorial guide
How do we find opportunities?
Public agency pages, settlement notices and provider offers are the starting points. Reporting can help us discover a case, but the official notice or offer is the source for eligibility and action. We link those sources on the detail page.
How do we verify a claim?
We record the covered products, dates and locations; proof requirements; filing status; and benefit language. We distinguish an individual benefit from the total settlement fund. A recorded review date belongs to that source review, not to the moment you opened the page.
How do we estimate a payout?
An official cap is labeled as a cap. Where a payout is not known, an editorial range is a scenario with assumptions, not a prediction validated by claim counts. Approval, eligible losses, deductions and the allocation rules can change the payment.
How do we estimate sportsbook value?
We separate the reward's face value, the cash needed to qualify and the result of using the reward. For a bonus bet whose stake is not returned, a two-outcome calculation uses the bonus winnings and an opposing cash bet. Qualifying costs, fees, limits, expiry and settlement differences still matter. The public calculators use your inputs, not live quotes.
How fresh are the numbers?
Public detail pages show their source-review dates. They are not a live price feed. The claim catalog uses an eight-day freshness window for reviewed records; a changed or stale record needs another check. Offer plans require the current account terms and quote checks before action.
What happens when a source changes?
A payout explanation tied to older source terms should not carry over to a changed record. Saved offer plans track terms and campaign revisions; a mismatch requires review. Missing terms or usable quotes prevent the app from treating a plan as ready.
How are opportunities ordered?
The public catalog groups opportunities by type so you can compare them. Featured claims use editorial relevance, including ordinary purchases, broad eligibility and paperwork. Personal matching also uses your answers. There is no single score that makes every opportunity best for everyone.
Can partners pay to rank higher?
The current public listing has no paid-ranking input. doddo may earn commissions through partner links. Paid placements, if introduced, should be clearly labeled. This is separate from an eligibility match, a calculated value or an official source review.
